Simplified installation through automated configuration
The installation of large and extensive business programs can take a lot of time and thus cause high costs. Technical know-how and background knowledge about the software to be installed is often a prerequisite for a smooth and correct integration. In the following article we would like to show you how we can integrate our maxflow® products quickly and easily into your existing SAP system architecture.
In the course of installing our products, for example, some technical settings have to be made in the SAP basic configuration. These settings require a certain SAP basic knowledge and are difficult to understand without corresponding experience. Especially during the first installation, these settings can be a hurdle.
In order to keep the installation effort of our software as low as possible and to ensure correct installation, some settings can be automated or partially automated via wizards. This effectively supports you and our consultants in integrating our software solutions into your SAP system and our products can be put into productive use more quickly.
Basic technical settings are carried out fully automatically. Settings that depend on the customer's requirements and have to be set individually are made via simplified dialogs. For example, the scheduling of background jobs and the linking of various events are set differently for our customers. When selecting the job intervals and the relevant events, the wizard provides support by suggesting proven values and transferring the entries to the various SAP configuration tables.
The automatic configuration also avoids incorrect settings, which take unnecessary time to find and can even lead to data loss under certain circumstances. In addition, the processing effort during installation is reduced to a minimum and only a few settings have to be made manually.
