Why it's Worth Upgrading to Version 4

After seven years, version 3 of maxflow® invoice management was officially replaced by the new version 4 in May 2017. During the development of the new version, special attention was paid to customer requirements, transparency and performance in addition to the new user interfaces. Since the completion of version 4, 8 further releases have been published and meanwhile release 400.008.000 is available. But why do we recommend an update? What are the advantages? Why have many of our customers already decided to update to the new version?

Optimized Stability, Speed and Usability of the Web Interface

The outdated web interface was completely redesigned to provide users with the same stability and usability as in SAP.

maxflow® invoice management Inbox

To provide a better alternative to SAP Business Workplace, we provide a highly optimized Inbox. This offers users more functions and more data with a better overview.

Revision of the maxflow® invoice management Monitor

With the new version of maxflow® invoice management, the previous invoice receipt book has been replaced by the new maxflow® invoice management monitor. The invoice receipt book previously provided only a few functions and a relatively inflexible and unclear display of invoice data.

The new maxflow® invoice management monitor provides all relevant invoice data at a glance. These can be easily customized depending on the company or personal requirements of the user. Thanks to the improved and more intuitive interface design as well as the significantly more extensive selection options in the maxflow® invoice management monitor, analyses with significantly more detailed restrictions can be carried out in a time- and resource-saving manner and prepared in a user-friendly manner. To increase the efficiency of working with the maxflow® invoice management monitor, the monitor offers functionalities for faster processing of tasks without having to open additional dialogs, e.g. quick release or forwarding. Furthermore, useful functions are provided, such as the task preview or the improved discount deadline warning, which allows you to immediately identify which tasks should be processed with high priority in order to achieve the greatest possible savings.

With maxflow® invoice management, several variants of the monitor are delivered right from the start, which have been specially designed for specific use cases. Due to the different selections and processing options, it is already possible to provide a suitable monitor for various user groups without extensive customizing.

Streamlining of the User Surfaces

In version 3 of maxflow® invoice management, the dialogs of the various process steps sometimes differed considerably from one another, which was detrimental to user-friendliness and intuitiveness. The new version 4 offers a significant improvement of the user surfaces. The dialogs of all process steps have been given a uniform and user-friendly layout. The main control of the steps with the most important functions has the same layout in all steps to increase usability. In addition, shortcuts are available so that experienced users can process the steps more easily and quickly. Through the increased use of authorization checks, the functionality of each process step can be restricted or extended depending on the user group, and extended control options are available in all steps, especially for key users and accountants.

To meet the requirements of modern workstations, the new dialogs support dynamic resizing so that the available space on high-resolution screens can be used effectively.

Better Analysis Options for Agent Determination

In line with the complete revision of the maxflow® invoice management monitor, the very important function of the agent analysis has also been revised. The simple, unclear display of the agents has had its day. Instead, the new version provides a user-friendly and easy-to-use interface that makes work much easier and more efficient. For example, the new forward navigation, which is already familiar from SAP, allows administrators to perform a detailed analysis of the agents determined in the simplest way possible without having to call up separate transactions.

Optimized Stability, Speed and Usability of the Web Interface

Our goal is to provide a more stable and better product with each version. The new web application of maxflow® invoice management 4 is based on a completely redesigned transmission technology using the latest standards. This is reflected in a clear profit in performance and stability.

To provide smoother workflows and an optimized user experience, all dialogs have been redesigned to be more practical and appealing. Restrictions in the functionality of the process steps compared to the SAP interface are a thing of the past. To better integrate users of the web interface into established processes, additional cross-product functions such as substitution care are available via maxflow® portal in addition to the Inbox.

maxflow® invoice management Inbox

As an alternative to SAP Business Workplace, the maxflow® invoice management inbox was designed to optimize the efficient processing of your tasks. Comprehensive invoice data is made available at a glance. In order to meet the diverse requirements of different user groups, the Inbox can be easily and quickly adapted to the user's personal requirements.

The Business Workplace, on the other hand, provides only a few dynamic columns to provide the important information for a processor at a glance. Due to the better and more intuitive interface design in the maxflow® invoice management inbox, incoming invoices can be processed in a time and resource-saving manner and managed in a user-friendly manner.

Additional features, such as tracking own queries and a group function, provide functions that are not available to users in the Business Workplace. These make work easier and more efficient, as users are less likely to be forced to switch transactions. For more information, click here.
